Consistent Bedtime

If your routine is the same all year, then keep your kids on the same schedule so they’re well rested. If you have more flexibility in the summer, let them have a later bedtime. The key is to keep it consistent! We know bedtime is hard when it’s still daylight. Nevertheless, a healthy kids routine makes it easier to get them to sleep. It also makes extending bedtime for special occasions a real treat!

New Habits

The summer is a great time to teach new habits or new responsibilities. If you want your child to start helping with household chores, use the summer to implement these into their routine.
